16/1/2014: Welcoming friends day by day

The next few blogs are going to be brought to you in point and picture form as quite a few days have passed now since these days happened.

Thursday saw the arrival of Adam and Lamees early in the morning and Sam and Ian in the evening. We took Adam and Lamees down to the waterfront, and out for A&W Burgers before taking them back to the hotel.  I caved and had my first poutine of the trip.

We went out for dinner at "The Old Spaghetti Factory" in Gastown before heading back to our hotel for the evening.
