9/1/2014: Lots of Snow

We spent the majority of our day inside our condo while it puked snow outside. We watched the ground and trees go from bare branches to being heavily covered with glorious white powdery snow. Late this afternoon we skyped with Wendy and Tahlia for a little while before heading into the village for a Peaked Pie. You can see it in the faces of everyone walking around the village - this is what we live for. It's finally snowing. It's like these 15+ centimetres of snow has breathed some life back into the village. It's only supposed to snow more over the next three to four days. This means that we'll definitely be getting up the hill in the next couple of days - depending on how we both are.
